Dr. Michal Piszczuk is a foot and ankle surgeon who sees patients at Northwest Podiatry Center. He treats all disorders of the foot and ankle including arthritis, tendon ruptures, foot and ankle deformities, acute trauma and fractures, repair of nonunions/cartilage lesions, and limb salvage procedures.
He received his Pharmacy degree (PharmD) from Drake University; his Medical degree (DPM) from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago; and completed his surgical residency at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. His extensive, four-year training consisted of a comprehensive surgical residency in trauma reconstruction of the foot, ankle, and lower leg, with surgical subspecialties in general, vascular, and plastic surgery.
Dr. Piszczuk is involved and affiliated with various foot and ankle associations and has continued to help in foot screenings and other community services. His leisure time and passion consist of physical fitness and sports. He enjoys traveling with his wife, and improving his game on the golf course, as well as skiing and swimming. Besides English, he is also fluent in Polish.
As an advocate of preventative medicine, he believes that good health begins with proper preventative protocols and extensive research on cases for the well-being of his patients and their lifestyle needs.
